How do I create an account in ILLiad?

ILLiad is a system for requesting books and articles that the library does not own itself, through Interlibrary Loan. Your ILLiad account is linked to your library record by the library barcode number on the back of your OneCard, but the login information is separate from your MyLMU information and is created by you.

To create an ILLiad account, open the ILLiad home page.

Click on "Create an Account" under "New User?" (bottom left side of the page).

Read the registration agreement for information about copyright, creating your login information, and the ILLiad FAQ. Click on "First Time Users Click Here" at the bottom of the page.

Complete the New User Registration Form. You will need the library barcode number from the back of your OneCard.

Create a username and password (if you choose to use your MyLMU information, keep in mind this will not change if you reset your MyLMU password in the future).
