How do I print a PDF off of the Internet or Brightspace? Why do I get blank pages when I print?
Some files, like a Google Doc or a PDF off of Brightspace, will not print properly if you print from within a web browser. You may end up printing blank pages or a cut off image of the screen.
In order to ensure that your print job prints properly, follow the directions below:
- From the web browser, download the document and save it to the desktop.
- Open document in Preview (Mac) or Adobe Acrobat DC (Windows), Word, or Excel. Print within the program as usual.
The Windows Edge browser (on Windows 10) can have trouble downloading and printing Google Drive documents. Please switch browsers and try Chrome or Firefox if you experience issues.
