How do I recover my saved document?

We encourage you to save your work regularly to cloud storage such as Box, OneDrive, or Google Drive,  email the document to yourself or save it to an external flash drive. Do save to the desktop. We cannot guarantee that any documents saved to the computer will be available after logging off or in the event of a power outage.

Troubleshooting tips:

• Try searching for the name of your document or for a key phrase in the document in case you accidentally saved it somewhere other than the Desktop.  
• If your program is frozen but the computer has not restarted, please contact the Information Desk staff for help.
