Where is the Lost and Found? I lost something in the library, where are found items kept?

Items found in the library are immediately taken to the Circulation Desk on Level 1, where they are tagged with the current date and placed in the library's Lost and Found. More information about the library's Lost and Found policy.

Valuable items such as purses, wallets, or cellphones will be kept at the Circulation Desk for about an hour to give the owner ample time to claim their belongings, and then will be given to the Department of Public Safety (DPS) for safekeeping.

Other items will be picked up on a weekly basis by a DPS officer, and kept in the University's Lost and Found (located in the Public Safety office at the Foley Annex).
