How do I register my gaming or TV device to the wireless network?

High-speed Internet access is available through ports in each resident's room as well as through the campus wireless network. Students will be prompted to register their computer or gaming system when they first connect to the Internet. LMU requires that students have installed approved anti-virus software and all operating system updates. For wireless access, students will use their MyLMU login information each time they connect.

In order to register your gaming or TV device to the wireless network, you will need to submit an email to helpdesk@lmu.edu with your contact name, University I.D. number, phone number, and the Media Access Control/Network/Hardware Address of your device. While the address of your device is unique, it will nonetheless resemble other addresses because it will be a 12-digit combination of hexadecimal characters (0–9 to represent values zero to nine, and A, B, C, D, E, F to represent values ten to fifteen).
